and yet one project i just posted proposed pumping brine 100 miles to the dead sea to REDUCE its saltiness(since the dead sea is ca 5x more salty than the ocean)
but somewhere i read about a proposal to channel mediterranean sea water to the dead sea-which i suspected was not followed thru due to israels unique security concerns
