RARE Short Play
Good afternoon, folks. Not any limburger like stinkers today. But a RARE short should pay a utility bill or two.
Ultragenyx (RARE) is a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company that suffered its 2nd miss yesterday in recent months- this time a late stage candidate that failed to meet any of its endpoints.
Got a severe PT cut from Suntrust today- from $105 to $55 and a downgrade
Next significant potential catalyst not until Nov but a minor filing could happen over next few weeks so we never want to hang out in a bio play too long.
Company has no products and a lot of other trials to fund. Accordingly, last month it filed to sell up $150M more in shares.
Caughtz the bounce to 51.50 and staked out my short and first alerted there.
$50.65 at this writing, 2:50 PM EST.
