If someone needed a high dose of Prurisol, it looks like it could be monitored with blood tests. There are lots of drugs that need monitoring like that.
The biologics for psoriasis have side effects like cancer, IBD, etc. No blood tests to tell about the likelihood of developing those kinds of side effects.
So once again, because Prurisol CAN be monitored for the one major side effect that could happen, Prurisol is better in terms of safety than the existing heavy-duty drugs.
