I have hired some home schooled kids, not many. They are good well mannered etc., but they lack the experience is the social intelligence one gains by things such as friendships or being bullied or bullying or playground skirmishes, snarkiness ect. Of course not all public education is equal.
Just relating an observation of experience.

Then again I can't fathom how people can have the discipline to work from home either.
