I think that if there were significant adverse effects they would have to tell IPIX management so that they could decide whether they wanted liability for continuing the clinical trial. So no news is good news.

And yes, the company shouldn't know anything about results at this point.

The company not knowing anything protects them from any accusations of leaking information that could lead to insider trading. Ask Martha Stewart if she thinks that's a good idea
