I was under the impression that IPIX would not pursue any phase III trials on their own and would partner after phase II. That being said, if they were going to pursue a PIII on their own, it sure seems like the B-OM indication would be the choice. The comparison of the placebo versus drug in the interim results were very impressive and I have to believe the reason for the accelerated enrollment was because of the effectiveness and ease of use.....If I were a BP, I would be all over B-OM trying to lock it in before my competitors!
