I agree, I don't believe Apple is the investor. Also, Apple is in the business of quietly acquiring companies. They will not highlight a different company, they would acquire them and call it their own.

Some people don't know that Siri was a 3rd party app on the app store (not Sirius the Satellite Radio service) which was developed outside of Apple. Siri ended up being acquired (by Steve Jobs at that time) so that Apple could brand Siri as their own.

So with that said, I don't believe that Apple is looking to acquire Ultraflix. I believe there's a different type of relationship based on what I have found and my technical expertise.
