T+2 is the amount of time the buyer has to come up with the money or the seller has to come up with the shares. Prior to 9/5 delivery was T+3. Will be interesting to see how this change effects things. In this day and age we should imo be T+0 and every share should be tracked which would eliminate much of the fraud and criminal acts present in our markets. Go NTEK!!!
