Re: Coat Tail Rider #3474
The contrast of Kyle's statements vs Sinclair's. Kyle claims they're "on the wreck," but Sinclair never makes such a claim. Here is the incomplete summary of 2017 (ahem) exploration. Looks like they're back to magging because nothing significant has been found. Of course they don't have a permit for Area 2, but you know that.
December 28 2016 to July 27 2017 (Final Report)
During this period Seafarer Quest has been researching a Priority Targets anomaly trail appearing to run across the southern end of Area 2 from east to west and dips down into the north western corner of Area 1. These anomalies were investigated using hand held metal detectors. After conducting a search of each target, completing a 40 foot search circle, it was determined that 4 out of 4 of the anomalies were either too deep to locate with hand held metal detectors or no longer in the indicated location. It has been determined that additional magnetometer surveys need to be conducted.
Seafarer’s Quest has started re-surveying across the lower area of permitted Area 2 and the upper area of permitted Area 1. Our records indicate that the artifacts surrendered to the State by HTQ were retrieved from this area. The surveys are being conducted using a Geometrics 882 magnetometer with altimeter using 30 foot lane spacing. Once the survey has been completed and data analyzed the State will be provided a copy of the report and any findings.
