Thanks for the clarification. I did not know that the database includes trials done all over the world. The fact that it has not been updated I would attribute more to a lack of experience than anything else.

Management was quite candid in explaining the trials and tribulations of conducting clinical trials over an extended period of time. As you've pointed out there are so many unexpected things that could occur, such as drop-outs that could delay the conclusion of the trial. However, I have no reason to believe that they are not on track even if they may not be able to pinpoint an exact completion date. We've waited this long, what's the big deal if we have to wait a bit longer.
