Dr. Ghassan E. Jabbour is regarded as the father of reactive printing of materials and devices. He works with low-cost additive manufacturing, and printable electronics and photonics.
Jabbour said, “My (two-part) research into the low-cost fabrication of nanomaterials, as well as conductive and intelligent textiles, will capitalize on my innovations in reactive and passive 2D/3D printing, as well as nanothick flexible device fabrication research. It will enable the low-cost roll-to-roll fabrication of nanoparticles and quantum dots required for the development of numerous applications, including smart textiles, which hold great promise in both the public and private sectors.”
