what an adventurer! and making hitler mad and having hitler put a contract on his head is a nice pinnacle. may look at that story more when i have more time
male homo sapiens were programmed to be adventurers but the loss of the frontier makes that much harder, so today most have to do that vicariously via watching sports etc
and the govt makes it harder to be an adventurer also- you have to have a permit for almost everything-you often even have to be certified to haul illegal waste-which taints the adventure
when i was young i used to enjoy swinging from tree to tree(true) and the crows nest-kept me away from the drunken riffraff
but now heights dont have the same calling card-maybe its bc i cheated death 1000's of times or now i realize the limitations of the law of gravity and i've used up more miracles than most can even imagine
