Good post. My guess is that by not including the link to the short volume file, people won't see:
1. "XX% is short sales" isn't stated in the file.
2. Many companies have similar patterns.
Seeing other company's #s will put IPIX's #s into perspective. It's the same reason as why Alan stopped posting the #s for AAPL, a stock he's invested in. People will see 50% of Apple's shares are naked short. Now that's hard to sell to new investors.
