The fact that it is a hassle to be able to open an account on an exchange doesnt stop the die hards from getting on. Remember only 6% of the world knows about Bitcoin (BTC) and the other Cryptocurrencies. Many analysts have said this is just the beginning. Read what Delloitte has said. Interestingly, a consortium they cite is R3, of which Ripple is a member.

im sure it will get easier, but when it is available to the masses...Oh and by they way, XRP offering by these exhanges is pretty new. More Exchanges around the world are starting and others are starting to offer XRP. so it really is the beginning.
