With Session's there, Congress is likely to act to prevent him from interfering with State's that legalized marijuana. I don't know that they'll go all the way to legalizing it, but with an AG who openly doesn't care, no pressure will be on Congress to take any action at all.

In short, cannabis is likely to get more attention with Session's in place, but personally I'd like to see him out just as others here would.

I suspect that Trump may force Congress to act by taking actions which he knows are unpopular. Perhaps at some point illegal alien's will be dealt with in legislation that ends the actions being taken currently. I've read about crops that are rotting in the fields because no one is available to pick them. I believe that our farmer's are willing to pay reasonable wages, but that's not attracting U.S. citizens who are unemployed to apply.

I believe the country needs to recognize that we need alien's to do certain jobs, and figure out a way that they can be considered legal.
