I think you're missing the point fity. None of this tactical business stuff matters anymore. The money raise is the smartest thing they can do, the feelings of the many (thousands of) penny traders aside. The company has to raise its book value, and has to raise the book value quickly. If KB had the ability, I think he would raise $20 million, but he can't. And if the acquisition does not come off, the stock will still be higher and the company will have money in the bank to do what they have to do. My big bet is on a strategic partner making itself known.
