" The activity of Kevetrin was more marked than that of cisplatin toward lung, head and neck, breast, ovary, and colon cell lines. Interestingly, Kevetrin showed activity toward all head and neck, non-small cell lung, ovary, colon, and glioma cell lines tested in contrast to cisplatin, which generally exhibited a more heterogeneous response within a given tumor cell type. The difference between Kevetrin and the cisplatin was particularly striking for the three head and neck cancer cell lines, where Kevetrin showed activity toward all of the cell lines, whereas cisplatin was active toward one of the three cell lines."
