Disagree with that statement. It took almost 20 yrs for HD to become the standard and for something new to come along and start replacing it...... i.e 4K and HDR.
Netflix didn't start streaming HD until 10 years into the business cycle their main business was dvd delivery to the door. They're still not streaming everything in HD, too much bandwidth and too much cost.
There's still loads of time in the business cycle with lots of things that can be done technologically to improve delivery options.
