I didn't say it wasn't possible. I said you can't currently compare because it's not the same thing or the same market. Netflix had a "HUGE" customer base long before they switched to streaming. This is the same customer base that put movie rental companies out of business. I used them 10+ years ago to rent DVD's. I did this because they were the cheapest and had the largest database of movies. Customer acquisitions are expensive and often difficult. Netflix is just cheap and convenient.
Many customers use Netflix simply because it's cheaper than cable. If cable ever dropped to a flat fee of $20-$30 a month I truly believe Netflix would be dead in the water.
4K is expensive. Time will tell if customers will pay a premium price for it.
Would Ultraflix look as enticing to you if they have to charge the same as the competition? The only way we win some customers is quality. Like I said we need to be The Criterion of 4K. We also need to penetrate the market ASAP. If we wait another year it's too late.
