Right, on a day to day basis, there is a percentage of volume that market makers use to facilitate trading. This volume can vary wildly from day to day. It would be neat if we could use this data to evaluate if some institutions were making interesting bets in one direction or another, but I have yet to see that type of analysis performed using these numbers. It's ok with me to continue reporting these numbers, perhaps some education is being facilitated, perhaps not. Turns out IPIX is just like every other OTC stock, with one MAJOR difference - they have multiple blockbuster drug candidates about to hit mainstream!
