That's great news 3M didn't see fit to order the worlds greatest Dots at the best price from QMC's current 2000 kg capacity or license & install their own short lead time, small footprint and low capex production line of their own to continue providing material for film coating. Instead they shut down an entire production and customer supply chain in a market that's forecast to be billions,,blah blah.
Let the excuses begin why 3M wasn't a target customer for Squires QDEF goal.
Okay I'll start,,
1) They're too busy with commitments to vaporware companies like Freschfield.
2) Squires was so busy working on the well overdue quarterly shareholder update he committed too that he had no time to take 3M's phone call.
