don't have to create shareholder value because shareholders don't own the company are are just a nuisance, no need to generate significant revenue, and can just be vague to non-committal in guidance. Just have to be a nice guy, take the grand kids to the park, church on Sunday.

And I am sure that when a public company elects you to be their CEO, you will be able to run that company any way you wish. If you want transient shareholders to make decisions, that will be your call. If you want a small minority of message board posters to tell you how to manage company resources, that will be your call too.

And with that I am out of here. I retire tomorrow and while I have many fond memories of my 43 years with one company, I have not a single fond memory from the message boards. But I leave with the knowledge that almost everyone I have dealt with on these boards already knows it all and I was just taking up space.
