None of $IPIX's drugs have the kinds of serious side effects that other drugs for those diseases have. That is, the ones that even HAVE other drugs -- we know that there is no good treatment at all for Oral Mucositis so Brilacidin-OM has nothing to compare to. Fortunately there don't seem to be any side effects from Bril-OM since it isn't being absorbed systemically.
