03:18 PM EDT, 06/20/2017 (MT Newswires) -- Brookdale Senior Living(BKD) could be worth up to $27 a share in a sale, compared with its current share price of around $15 each, when extrapolating the sale of Hawthorn Retirement Group to the company, Bloomberg reported, quoting analyst Frank Morgan and team.
The news agency said a similar valuation equates to $22 per share for Brookdale, but it has other assets like ancillary services, management services, unconsolidated ventures, and leased portfolio which would add another $5, bringing the total value to $27 per share.
Brookdale shares were up 2.4% on Tuesday.
