When I lived in South Korea, Bacchus was the popular hangover/energy drink there. It was a Korean based product. My Korean friends introduced it to me as both a hangover and energy drink.
It has similar ingredients as Red Bull (which is originally from Thailand).
BTW, I have yet to see an American energy drink in Thailand. No Monster, Rock Star....none of them. I'm sure the Red Bull family pays the right people to prevent US energy drinks from coming here.
