I have to say this is very hard to follow. I think there is a simpler explanation with easy to understand fundamental underpinnings:
The market cap has a hard time staying below $100M. This is because the B-ABSSSI phase 2b results we have been sitting on are worth that much alone. The other FOUR phase 2 trials we are expecting results in this year are just icing on the cake. With no notable debt we have no realistic risk of BK. Hence, it is very difficult for this to be pushed below $100M for any length of time.
There appears to be a substantial amount of money willing to voraciously buy anything under $0.70 (myself included) due to this fact. The company is hugely undervalued right now but the enemy has hit the point where pushing it lower results in valuations so ridiculous that the size of the bid becomes nearly limitless.
In addition, the only ones left holding in this stock are hardened veterans who have endured years of shakeouts.
The technical mumbo jumbo seems to muddy the waters on this.
