Demand and supply works when supply is limited. In the case of IPIX the supply has been unlimited for many months and lots of the shares sitting in our accounts are merely markers, not real shares. Call them IOU's if you will. Our brokerage firms are supposed to prevent this by insuring the shares we purchase get good delivery. If good delivery is not obtained they are supposed based on their fiduciary duty to buy in until good delivery the result. Sadly they don't. I look forward to the day when they have to pony up and that day is fast approaching. Will Leo declare a cash dividend after we make a deal with BP?
That would sweeten the pot for all who own shares but it will hurt a lot having to pay out cash on air shares. Go IPIX!!!
