Apparently some brokerages re-set the LEGAL shorts automatically for the new symbol. What we're seeing is the naked shorts who DO have to cover.
We had about 900k volume Friday and Monday. Almost all of that must have been naked short covering. I know of about 35k real buying that people have PM'ed me about. Figure 2 or 3 times that for actual trades, the other 800+k is naked short covering so far.
And I note that now that they've walked the price down on low volume, suddenly there's over 25k wanting to buy at .78-.79,
This afternoon will be interesting.
