So if that's the case...when do they ever cover?
If they have 1,000,000 shares nekkid short and IPIX runs to $50 can't they just nekkid short up another 1,000,000 shares to cover the first ones? If this is possible, why didn't the shorts do that with all the cited examples of a name change flushing out the nekkid shorts? The obvious answer is that there are no significant number of nekkid short shares outstanding.
Seems like this conspiracy will resolve when the share price goes up. But will they be squeezed or did the share price just appreciate? The world will never know.
