I AM GEECHEE. OUR GULLAH STORY!
Maybe you didn't notice it way back then but as a young Marine Recruit you were surrounded by the Gullah culture. It is all around the Beaufort SC area. James Island, where this video was shot, is closer to Charleston.
Like the lady in the video, I can't describe the taste of gator either but it is very good.
