....if I rem right: SS's vision was for solar to become the leader wrt elec in a non subsidized manner.
I don't think he's changed his mind and imagine he's further along than most suspect.
W/true paradigm shifts, the vision does need to be large enough to incorporate people and businesses displaced, (either opportunity to become part of the process or alternative venues to grow in), imo.
