I'm not in any way considered an expert or even knowledgeable about patents, however it appears as though we may have trouble gaining patent protection around our plant based natural CBD and THC. This could be a significant hang up. I don't really know, but it appears as though the patent commission doesn't consider natural cannabis extracts in whatever ratios to be "novel" enough. I'd LOVE to be wrong about this but because it isn't man made (synthetic) they may not consider it patentable. PLEASE SOMEONE TELL ME I'M WRONG!
