Permian Basin will continue to be in the news because the success of American oil producers and their flooding of the market contributed to the oil crash. Saudi tried to up production to freeze them out but they kept on producing and are intent on creating North American energy production that thrives without the influence of OPEC. They are intent on doing their own thing and will not be swayed by OPEC pressures. The recent oil crash is the power struggle that comes with real change. Very exciting.
