Partnerships often take many months, even years to finalize. I would suspect that before they paid off Medmar and terminated their agreement they may have spoken with others who may be able to fill the void, but determining interest and actually finalizing an agreement are very different things.
I believe a big part of the problem with Medmar was a determination by OWCP that they couldn't possibly establish sales in all states where medical marijuana was legal, they only had a presence in a few states. I don't know that any other company can do it either. I suspect that OWCP will need to take a State by State approach to U.S. sales where in some cases, one agreement covers a few states that a single company can provide.
This will take time, and I would think they'd concentrate on State's with the greatest population first. Here in California I've noticed a lot of store's that are not displaying the Green Cross symbol. I frankly have no idea of how many companies are doing business in the State. I would hope that at least one company distributes to retail stores throughout the State, but I have no idea who they are. California is certainly a lucrative place for OWCP to concentrate on, I hope we'll be one of the first State's to offer the psoriasis cream.
