In stating "the target audience was not intended to be focused on your unique investment background and needs but rather all shareholders" I meant that it is apparent that by your response you have a strong opinion towards anything that might differ from your current set of beliefs and instead of refuting any contrary opinion (positive or negative) to your own with facts you chose to attack the writer of the article and myself. The statement was a simple way of constructively saying without negativity... "ok... its obvious that you didn't appreciate the post but it wasn't intended to be just for you. Had it been I would have private messaged you. And perhaps someone else got something beneficial from it"
Instead of using the dislike button, ignoring, blocking, or private messaging me, or constructively countering you chose to make it public and a personal attack.
I am truly sorry that the article I posted made you feel threatened or insulted to the point that you determined you had no other recourse.
I purposefully gave no indication of my perspective on the article. I was in a hurry and the article was one which was published in the public domain for anyone... which I made the assumption most shareholders would like to know about (good or bad) and I linked it here in a honest hope to possibly encourage discussion and sharing of perspectives based in facts. Unfortunately that did not occur and instead was a catalyst that brought the board down.
It is for this reason I offer my apology to my fellow board members. Though I did chose to respond in like (publicly) on the board to shed light on the same type of personal attacks which not a month ago nearly drove many potential members with genuine questions to leave.
I leave the options described above as a suggestion for all of us to use and encourage those who determine a need to respond to use your knowledge and due diligence of the facts of the company as your argument. All board members here deserve that and the caliber of member here is what sets this board apart.
I will not be responding to anything further of this chain or others of like.
(Just so others know for those who may not know my posting history... I have had my moments with OWCP and have continued to stay on despite the pains of the ride we have all felt. I do believe we have had a right to be frustrated and I also believe will see the reward of our trust again in the near future. For those who have been there to remind and encourage review during these moments... I am grateful) Glad we had the green and would love to see this as a launching plate form for the next high of the year.
