I have put more money into QMC to Nanoco. However, I didn't see any progress from the announcement on 30 Jan. There is no fund named China Government Guidance Fund, but it is a type of fund to support the local business.
I think the joint venture is highly possible failed, and I think Mr. Stephen Squires already know it. So he has come back and focused on qds.
I also think the founder Mr. Stephen Squires shoud have raised fund from BOE or TCL, I believe both companies wrote term sheet to QMC, but he did not accepted. If QMC has USD 4-7mm in hand, it would be much safer investment.
