Absolutely I did it. Walked into the USMCR center, signed the papers, passed the physical off to P.I. 3 weeks later.
Too bad that you couldn't cut it and settled on the Army. Also too bad for you they decided they made a mistake and sent you on your way with your bad paper discharge.
