IMO the way Sheryle talked, they found this opportunity through connections of the team's vast network. I would take it from that alone they would have a relationship in some form with someone from the airline. If so, that would mean there is a personal connection meaning true intentions and willingness to get the deal done will be at the forefront, compared to answering an advertisement for a selling business, where 2 stranger companies are trying to put a deal together.
Thinking about it, that might be why there is such an urgent push for the updated financials, to share audited financial with the airline they are in talks with to speed things up.
