Wow Eric, that story just gave me the chills. 
My son was born seven & a half years ago at 26.5 weeks, also weighing in at a whopping 1lb 14oz and spent 90 days in the NICU...
My wife unexpectedly came down with preeclampsia, which unfortunately can only be resolved by removing the baby & even after the emergency cesarean it was close to a week before she was out of the woods and off of life support.
Long Story Short, GOD Definitely heard my prayers!
