If I'm reading that correctly, it is not saying that you cannot vote! States you must obtain the proxy from your brokerage so you can vote or direct your brokerage to vote in your behalf.
None the less, something I have to look into more because when I contacted Scottrade, they had no record of any Proxy material. But when I called it was also prior to what John said about getting the proxies out to those invested through brokerage firms. I called them on Friday and he said they did not go out until this week. So it may be there now for all I know. Most of my use in Scottrade is through my mobile app and don't believe it can be seen there. I gotta get on a PC and see if there is anything there now. I just can't do it from work as my computers block me from their site.
