Congratulations Atlas, I know you'll do a great job...
Rather than reaching out to everyone directly that had put their name in the hat for the head moderator spot, I figured that I'll just save myself some precious time by letting each one of you know why I decided not fill the spot within this post.
I had too many knowledgeable/competent members put in for it and I honestly couldn't decide between everyone. Plus, I didn't want to risk changing the structure of the board. Meaning, the only difference between the head moderator and an assistant moderator of a board is that the head moderator has the ability to add and remove assistants. So in sense, by me picking one person, I could unknowingly be replacing everyone.
