I'm not unhappy with either the FICA deductions from my paycheck throughout my career, which paid for my parents' SS and Medicare, nor with the arrangement as it exists today.

Both programs supplement what I accrued. I'm particularly happy with what I accrued!

There was/is no such thing as an 'Obama phone'. Edgicate yourself so you don't continue to live your life needlessly deluding yourself and working yourself up with misinformation.
