I would say what Apple needs or is waiting on is the industry to consolidate and standardize more. I think that is why they have delayed putting out a new phone,TV or STB that is 4k or HDR. Too much to be lost by the industry changing it's mind. Dolby and HDR 10 are duking it out now and I know, I know NTEK will be able to deliver both right? NTEK needs to deliver on its fundamentals and core business before they will be a buyout candidate IMO. Fun to dream but I'm WAY more realistic after the past several years...
