You might want to familiarize yourself with this Preamble and the reasons it was felt necessary place it at the beginning of the Constitution.
Even back then a loose confederation of colonies was not deemed suitable for attaining the goals put forward. Nothing in our history suggests that individual States are the best vehicles for guaranteeing justice, domestic tranquility, the general welfare or liberty.
Examples abound of infringements on all of those by individual States against their own citizens.
You want what never was and, by your own admission, what will never be.
