Which brings up another point....
Employee 401K plans vary, but the one I had for lots of years allowed me to buy any ticker on the big boards, including mutual funds, ETF's etc, on a monthly basis thru payroll deductions with predetermined distributions to each ticker, and I could even buy sell on the same day.
One day...USGL on the Naz maybe? Employee selects $100 per month towards buying USGL, tax deferred...on auto pilot...pun intended.
A 30 year old does this for 20 years...hmmmm
