Yup. Drano's right. There is a very standard dose increase formula used for phase I's. Doubling is standard - this is where confusion existed earlier because lots of people assumed doubling meant high dose - But Drano is spot on - starting dose is very small so even a doubling is, for most drugs, still a small dose.
