you would understand the use of shell companies. Since you need to be spoon fed all your info like a baby, here you go. Companies wanting to get on the boards buy shell companies because it is a faster and cheaper way to get listed. The old company is completely set aside, and the new company is listed with their new company's products and services. Nothing exists from the old company, nor does anything from that company pass to the new. Not much different from buying a house after somebody moved out- cheaper and easier than building one yourself.
