I just signed a LOI for a Volvo XC90 Hybrid for the wife, who has no idea how many shares we own.
The sales guy asked for for a deposit, so I told him no.
I then proceeded to explain, this LOI is a commitment, a purchase order, to get the car coming, as the lead time is 8 weeks out right now.
I'll pay cash when I'm ready to take delivery, so park in indoors for me and keep it clean. He looked very confused...I shook his hand then left.
They start out my way at $104,900.
Talk about confidence in Tony....
