Technology is always moving forward. The day will come if its not already here when a non invasive technique to measure BS will emerge. Maybe this is it. The current standard to measure BS now will not change over night due to economics of adopting a newer and more expensive way of monitoring. Test strips will I believe become a buggy whip scenario but not tomorrow or the near to midterm future.
The long term future of this company will be determined by its research into new methods of monitoring BS. I believe that this will be accomplished with the margins acquired from the worldwide distribution of test strips.
