GTC (good til canceled) orders can be canceled / replaced / edited anytime.
I use them with all penny stocks due to lower liquidity. Orders can be filled over time and partial filled orders can be edited.
I imaging my order to sell 500k of GIGL at $2 may not all filled in a day but I won't pay more than $6.95 to exit my position
